Chelsea consider four targets to replace Diego Costa

Costa though is waiting for a move away, could Atletico be a destination for the out of favour frontman?

In the video, Chelsea and Spain teammate, Cesc Fabregas - who has been enjoying some downtime on the beach with family - joined in from afar, adding a comment to the rolling text conversation, a simple "Bobo".

With ample funds made available to The Blues' succession of short-lived managers, its clear that transitioning youngsters into first team players has been overlooked in favour of signing experienced competitors, old enough and sufficiently developed to compete on the big stages.

"The best moment of this season was picking the trophy up because for months and months leading up to that, you're at home telling your wife and kids 'I want this badly' for loads of reasons", he said.

Costa has scored 59 goals in 120 matches in his three seasons at Chelsea, which includes winning two Premier League titles.

The Torino man is tremendous in the air, making the most of his 6ft 1in frame and Chelsea would be remiss if they didn't tweak their approach to take advantage of his ability to attack a cross.

"At the end, when I saw the score, I told him it was finished and he stood up and came to hug me, my dad, my wife and Marcos' dad was in front of me".

Christian Benteke is another player being considered.

"He showed to be before a great man and then a great player".

In many ways their departures are understandable; Chelsea and Abramovich's relentless drive for success necessarily precludes the possibility of carrying young and inexperienced players in big games.

The striker had earlier revealed that he received an SMS from Conte informing him that he won't be the in his plans for next season.

Sergio Aguero has been the latest to join the Stamford Bridge outfit's shortlist while Alvaro Morata and Andrea Belotti have been strongly linked as well.

Given his lack of experience at the top level and his price tag despite that, Conte may turn to the Italian striker only as a last resort.
